Job summary

Royal Mail in Runcorn is looking for a dedicated Post Person with Driving to join our delivery team. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area and, come rain or shine, ensure letters and parcels reach every destination with care and accuracy.

The role blends driving with walking, requires a full UK manual licence with no more than 6 points, and the stamina to walk long distances and carry up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps per day and carry up to 16 kg mailbag.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across the assigned area, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive a Royal Mail van as part of the round and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Interact courteously with the community and uphold Royal Mail standards.
