Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking an acting Team Leader for Dene Brook, a specialist residential service in Rotherham. You’ll work full time, 42 hours weekly, on 12-hour shifts with an alternating weekend pattern, and provide enhanced care to people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviours that may challenge.

You will support management in daily running, lead a care team, and ensure a safe, person-centred environment tailored to each individual’s strengths and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
• Safeguard & maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

We are looking for a confident Acting Team Leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working full time 42 hours a week,12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends (four shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), days only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Dene Brook.

Dene Brook is a specialist residential service in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviours that may challenge. We encourage and enable the people we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual.

Your Day-to-Day
