Job summary

Cygnet Group seeks an Acting Team Leader at Dene Brook in Rotherham to lead shifts and support a residential service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role involves 42 hours weekly on 12-hour shifts, with alternate weekends, working days only, on site.

Salary for acting team leader shifts is £15.39 per hour, with progression to higher rates for other roles and development opportunities. DBS check is required, and duties include supervision, care, and admin tasks.

You’ll be working full time42hours a week,12hour shifts, including alternate weekends (four shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), days only,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Dene Brook.

Dene Brook is a specialist residential service in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and behaviours that may challenge.

Your Day-to-Day…

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
