Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to join Dene Brook, a specialist residential service in Rotherham for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. You will deliver person-centred care, provide emotional and physical support, and maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role involves days-only shifts as part of a two-week rolling rota. The opportunity includes a competitive hourly rate with progression after probation, access to apprenticeship schemes,

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills.
  • Empathy and sensitivity in working with residents with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to individual care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
  • Offer guidance and emotional support to residents.
  • Learn about individuals’ needs and assist in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
