A leading media production firm in Greater London seeks a Content Acquisitions Manager to drive its content strategy. The ideal candidate will manage content sourcing, negotiate with producers globally, and collaborate with sales on projections. A strong background in content acquisitions and negotiation skills is essential, alongside a strategic mindset to utilize data insights and stay informed on industry trends. Our Client is a leading name in media production, focused on building and nurturing long-running franchises.
As an Acquisitions Manager, you will support the overall management of the company’s content pipeline. You will be actively sourcing, negotiating and closing deals with third-party producers from around the world.
Key responsibilities:
With proven experience in content acquisitions, media licensing, or content strategy, you will have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
A deep understanding of the broadcast, streaming and digital media landscapes is essential as is an excellent knowledge of what is content is trending in the UK and internationally.
You will have a strategic mindset with experience using data insights to assess content performance and inform decisions.
