Accounts Receivable Assistant

Altum Consulting is partnering with a multinational, award-winning media company to find an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant for their transactional finance team. This initial 3-month role may be extended.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounts receivable/sales ledger experience, with good knowledge of credit control and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate daily payments and obtain remittances from suppliers if needed
• Post CHAPS transactions and match them to invoices
• Record refunds for BACS rejections in the payments account
• Update sales team upon receipt of payments
• Maintain aged debtors report once items are cleared
• Download and review sales orders from Agresso
• Send out sales orders/invoices to customers
• Respond to internal and external queries
• Follow up on aged debtors
• Raise credit notes and cancel invoices as requested by corporate sales
• Notify AP team of refunds and BACS rejections
• Contact the business regarding unidentified income or refunds
