Itchy Feet in the United Kingdom is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team on a full-time basis, 35 hours per week. You will load and import fuel and non-fuel invoices and credit notes into the supplier ledger and ensure accurate allocation of payments.

You will reconcile supplier statements, chase discrepancies with suppliers, and support month-end processes. The role offers a proactive, detail-oriented professional the chance to contribute to a busy finance function.

Qualificações

• Previous Purchase Ledger experience preferred, training available.
• Demonstrable experience of high-volume processing.
• Proactive in resolving queries from internal and external sources, solving problems timely.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Clear and concise communication, both oral and written, with active listening.
• Intermediate Excel skills and experience with Sage or NetSuite.
• Excellent organisational skills, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to achieve targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsabilidades

• Import fuel and non-fuel invoices and credit notes into the Purchase Ledger (Sage 50 or NetSuite).
• Reconcile all Purchase Ledger accounts with supplier statements/payments monthly or quarterly.
• Chase supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all payments are allocated correctly.
• Conduct monthly payment runs.
• Assist with month-end processes.
• Process expenses in line with policy and reimbursements.
• Provide administrative support for office operations.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks within Finance.
• Perform tasks as directed by Finance Manager or Group Financial Controller.
