Hours: 9-5:30pm Monday - Friday. This role will offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days office based a week

Our client, a forward-thinking organisation in the hospitality industry, is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join their bustling finance department. This role is designed for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a vibrant team!



As an integral part of their accounts payable team, you will:



  • Ensuring invoices are accurate and processing

  • Assist in preparing payments

  • Serve as a key point of contact with suppliers

  • Address and assist with any issues

  • Prepare Supplier Statement reconciliations and ensure outstanding invoices are requested and processed

  • Resolve queries through effective written and verbal communication

  • Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing procedures

  • Work to enhance workflows and streamline processes.



To thrive in this role, you should have:



  • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role

  • Experience meeting deadlines

  • Experience with reconciliations

  • Strong organisational skills

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data entry.
