Your new company
A privately owned investment management firm based in London that has been operating for approximately 30 years. The firm employs unique strategies in global equity investments for their diverse client base. Your new role
The client is seeking an organised and analytical Accounts Assistant to join their finance team for 12 months, reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance. Key responsibilities include:• Own the end-to-end process of calculating and issuing performance and management fee invoices for segregated and pooled fund accounts, in line with client IMAs.
• Drive credit control by managing outstanding sales ledger items through proactive client communication.
• Act as the go-to contact for all invoice-related queries, collaborating with internal teams and external partners like auditors, administrators, and custodians.
• Lead monthly fee forecasting and accruals for all accounts and funds, including quarterly rolling 12-month projections.
• Coordinate annual audits as the primary liaison for all sales ledger activity.
• Manage financial postings in Sage, including invoices, income, bank reconciliations, and revaluations for month-end close

What you'll need to succeed
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar finance role
• Working in asset or investment management would be a plus (but would consider wider financial services)
• Available within the next 4 weeks
