Job summary

A leading employment business is seeking an experienced Accounting Systems Manager for a hybrid role in Bridgend. The successful candidate will manage and develop the Council's financial systems, oversee upgrades, and implement controls to ensure quality data. Candidates should have experience with Advanced E5 and extensive accounting experience, alongside strong IT and management skills. This position offers a pay rate of £24.46 per hour for full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent OR holding demonstrable accounting systems experience.
• Extensive experience within an accounting environment, including the development of financial systems.
• Strong understanding of databases, data uploads, extraction, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and develop the Council's financial systems.
• Oversee system updates and upgrades of the Advanced E5 accounting system.
• Design and implement internal system controls for financial data.
