Position Overview

This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC. The Accounting Analyst supports daily finance operations, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Collaboration: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliation, and payments. Prepare payment proposals mid-month and at month-end.
3. Accounts Receivable: Handle customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Administer payments, record bank entries, reconcile bank statements, and manage ledger entries for month-end reporting. Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
5. Additional Support: Assist with credit card and expense reporting, ERP system upgrades, audit documentation, and adhere to safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: College degree in Accounting with 3+ years relevant experience preferred.

Skills & Knowledge: Excellent communication, strong Excel skills, familiarity with MS Office and preferably Microsoft D365. Demonstrated teamwork, analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work long hours and travel as needed.

Work Environment

Must work in a high-pressure environment, sometimes lifting up to 50 pounds, and work with machinery and hazardous materials according to safety policies. Flexibility for long hours, weekends, and travel is required.
