General Summary:

This position reports to the Accounting Manager or their designee and is located in Kannapolis, NC, USA. The Accounting Analyst plays a key role in the daily operations of the finance team, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Promote teamwork and effective communication to develop strong working relationships across all personnel and departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Lead processes including vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliations, and payments. Prepare mid-month and end-of-month payment proposals.
3. Accounts Receivable: Manage customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Administer payments via banking systems, record bank entries, reconcile statements, manage general ledger entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Other duties: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, and adhere to safety regulations.

Education and Work Experience:

College or university degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of process articulation and documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail, and within a team environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

Equipment and Applications:

Computer with Microsoft Office, including D365.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment, with occasional travel and flexible hours. May involve lifting up to 50 pounds, manual tasks, and exposure to machinery and hazardous fluids, complying with health and safety policies.
