Job summary

Equans is seeking an Account Manager to join our Bellshill team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will own the contract's financial performance and service delivery, acting as the primary client contact across multiple sites.

A robust background in building services, governance and budget control is essential. The role requires strong communication, a proactive approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining professional client service.

Qualifications

• Previous account management experience with knowledge of building services and legislation.
• Experience in a social housing environment.
• Strong finance and budgeting experience.
• Process governance and structured operations experience.
• Experience managing a helpdesk function.
• Experience in facilities management.
• Ability to think clearly under pressure.
• H&S/M&E qualification Water Systems and Legionella Control – HSG274.
• MS Office (Word/Outlook) and CAFM system proficiency.
• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Industry qualification required; asbestos awareness helpful.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures across stakeholder groups.
• Manage safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) through RAMS, PPE, training and procedures.
• Develop relationships with operations, partners, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Lead client service delivery across multiple locations.
• Agree and monitor a clear business plan for the contract.
• Set and review SLAs and KPIs for value addition.
• Coordinate completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works.
• Review monthly contract performance with Regional Manager and plan future actions.
