Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Account Manager - Aluminium Fabricators to cover the North region (M62 corridor). You will manage fabricator accounts, promote aluminium systems, and build long-term relationships.

The role offers £55,000-£65,000 base with a 30% bonus and full benefits, including a hybrid car, with travel across the M62, Newcastle and Scotland as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to fabricators, ideally aluminium.
• Ability to manage multiple fabricator accounts.
• CRM proficiency and IT literacy.
• Outgoing personality with relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Field sales promoting aluminium systems (facade, curtain walling, doors & windows).
• Manage circa 20 fabricator accounts; onboard 2 new fabricator customers per year.
• Handle revenue responsibility around £4m.
• Focus 80-90% on account management and 10-20% on onboarding.

Job Title: Account Manager - Aluminium Fabricators

Industry Sector: Aluminium Systems, Aluminium Fabricators, Curtain Walling, Windows, Doors, Façade Systems, Façade Glazing, Cladding and Building Envelope

Area to be covered: North - ideally based M62

Remuneration: £55,000-£65,000 + 30% Bonus

The role of the Account Manager - Aluminium Fabricators will involve:

• Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of aluminium systems (façade systems, curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows)
• Responsible for circa 20 fabricator accounts (10 actively spending|)
• Approx. £4m revenue responsibility
• 80-90% account management, 10-20% on-boarding 2 new fabricator customers per annum
• Targeting fabricators capable of a minimum of £100,000+ turnover, but can be £1m
• Inheriting an established territory
• Majority of the customers are based along the M62, but also Newcastle and into Scotland

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Aluminium Fabricators with:

• Worked for or sold to a fabricator, ideally aluminium
• Ideally with aluminium fabricator network knowledge
• May be open to PVC or composite fabricator backgrounds or aluminium system house backgrounds
• Account manager/ relationship management experience
• IT literate, CRM proficient
• Specific knowledge of curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows is not essential but may be advantageous
• Ability to sell on quality over price
• Outgoing personality
