Account Manager – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves managing and progressing product approvals, ensuring specifications, pack copy, and artwork follow correct processes efficiently.

This opportunity allows you to support one of the UK’s leading food retailers, providing day-to-day service delivery and collaborating closely with their internal teams.

THE ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

As an Account Manager, you will serve as the key contact for the client, ensuring smooth project management and service delivery. Building strong relationships and providing expert guidance to meet client needs will be essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing service delivery and stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
  • Overseeing project capacity, capabilities, and prioritization.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand and develop services.
  • Representing the business at client meetings and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Compiling performance and status reports.
  • Handling client feedback and managing challenging conversations professionally.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Successful candidates will have experience in Account Management or Project Management, preferably within FMCG or food retail sectors. Attributes include:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Account or Project Management.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented team player.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
  • A positive, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • Ability to develop efficient processes.
