Job summary

Hayley Dexis in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to be the main on-site contact for our customer at their premises. You will be based on site 5 days a week, handling procurement, engineering enquiries and quotes, and processing orders in the customer CMS/ERP systems.

You will work with our strategic accounts team and key suppliers, bringing knowledge of MRO and bearings to support projects within the heavy industry sector and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the MRO industry is essential.
• Experience procuring engineering consumables.
• Ability to communicate across multiple levels within the organisation is essential.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Full driving licence preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Customer-focused, driven to provide high levels of service.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a brand-new AccountManager, based at our customer site in Birmingham.

About the AccountManager role:

As our Account Manager, you will be the main contact for the customer onsite their premises (whilst still being employed by Hayley).

You will belocated in a office onsite 5 days a week, procuring goods, dealing with engineering enquiries and attending management meetings.

A typical day would include supporting on projects,providing technical support to the customer which may involve assisting with the identification of parts, answering queries, preparing quotes and processing orders on the customer CMS/ERP systems as well as our own.

You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholder from our strategic accounts team to key suppliers.

This customer is in the heavy industry sector so you’ll ideally have crossover knowledge with product knowledge around core areas such as bearings.

What we’re looking for in our AccountManager:

• Experience within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) industry is essential. Will consider similar cross over industries.
• Experience in the procurement of engineering consumables.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals across various levels within the organisation is essential, as the role requires direct collaboration with the customer engineering team.
• Ability to work on an autonomous basis
• Driven and motivated
• Full driving licence is preferable.
• Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
• Basic computer skills, including experience in using Microsoft Office.
• Able to prioritise workload and work as a part of a team.
