Job summary

Hayley Dexis is seeking an proactive Internal Sales person for our onsite team at a customer site in Kitts Green, Birmingham. You will be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries by phone and email, source pricing, and process orders to keep every part of the operation running smoothly.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to provide excellent service, meet deadlines, and support continued growth in our metal processing client base.

• Experience of dealing with MRO products or working in an engineering/sales environment.
• Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
• Good level of communication and numerical skills.
• Willing and able to learn about and support new products.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries by phone and email, with a helpful and professional approach.
• Source pricing information, process orders, and record enquiries, orders and invoices to keep operations running smoothly.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless service and timely deliveries.
• Support ordering and documentation processes to maintain accurate records and deadlines.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales person to join our busy Onsite team, based at our customer’s site in Kitts Green, Birmingham. Our customer is an industrial manufacturer specialising in producing lightweight metals, primarily aluminium sheet, plate, extrusions and architectural products.

About the Internal Sales role:

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries, handling requests by phone and email with a helpful and professional approach. You’ll use our internal systems to accurately identify, source and price the products customers need, and you’ll record enquiries, orders, invoices and other key documentation to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll also play an important part in working with our suppliers and internal teams. This includes sourcing pricing and delivery information, raising and processing purchase orders, and liaising with colleagues across different departments to ensure every customer receives a seamless service. If you enjoy a varied role where organisation, accuracy and great communication really shine, this could be the perfect fit.

We’re looking for someone confident and proactive and who isn’t afraid to get stuck into a range of tasks. Our preference is for someone from a similar sector however are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds also.

What we’re looking for in our Internal Sales person:
