Hayley Dexis in Birmingham is seeking an Internal Sales specialist to handle customer enquiries by phone and email, price products, and maintain records for orders and invoices. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You should be proactive, accurate, and able to manage multiple requests with strong communication and numerical skills. This on-site role offers growth opportunities within a dedicated onsite team at a manufacturing site.

Qualifications

Experience with MRO products or engineering/sales environment.
Strong customer service orientation and reliability.
Good written and verbal communication and numerical skills.
Proficient with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
Willingness to learn about and support new products.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines and targets.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries by phone or email.
Identify, source, and price products using internal systems.
Record enquiries, orders, and invoices accurately for traceability.
Source pricing, delivery information, and liaise with suppliers and teams.
Raise and process purchase orders and ensure smooth service.

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales personto join our busy Onsite team, based at our customer’s site in Kitts Green, Birmingham. Our customer is an industrial manufacturer specialising in producing lightweight metals, primarily aluminium sheet, plate, extrusions and architectural products.

About the Internal Sales role:

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries, handling requests by phone and email with a helpful and professional approach. You’ll use our internal systems to accurately identify, source and price the products customers need, and you’ll record enquiries, orders, invoices and other key documentation to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll also play an important part in working with our suppliers and internal teams. This includes sourcing pricing and delivery information, raising and processing purchase orders, and liaising with colleagues across different departments to ensure every customer receives a seamless service. If you enjoy a varied role where organisation, accuracy and great communication really shine, this could be the perfect fit.

We’re looking for someone confident and proactive and who isn’t afraid to get stuck into a range of tasks. Our preference is for someone from a similar sector however are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds also.

What we’re looking for in our Internal Sales person:

Experience of dealing with MRO products or working in an engineering/sales environment.
