Get Recruited group in Barnsley is seeking an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of key accounts within the education space, offering a hybrid working pattern.

You will travel across the UK, build relationships with senior stakeholders, manage full sales cycle from initial contact to renewal, and collaborate with internal teams to drive growth and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Background in account management, business development or B2B sales.
• Experience in education, EdTech, SaaS or similar.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.

Up to £42,000 + Company Car + Bonus

The Opportunity:

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation within the education space. This is a relationship-led commercial role where you’ll be responsible for developing key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and building relationships with new customers. This is a great opportunity for someone from a Account Manager, National Account Manager, Regional Sales, Field Sales, Area Sales, Business Development Manager or similar role.

The Role:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to grow and develop existing customers
• Creating new business opportunities and developing prospective accounts
• Managing the full sales process from initial conversations through to renewal and growth
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline
• Keeping CRM activity, opportunities and forecasts up to date
• Working closely with internal teams to support customers and drive commercial growth
• Attending industry events, conferences and customer meetings
• Travelling across the UK to meet with customers and develop key relationships

The Person:

• A strong background in account management, business development or B2B sales
• Experience within education, EdTech, SaaS or a similar environment
• A proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers
• Experience growing existing accounts alongside developing new business
• Previous experience managing a national customer base and travelling across the UK would be a strong advantage
• A consultative and relationship-focused approach
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities
• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple accounts and opportunities
• Flexibility to travel regularly as part of the role
