Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a proactive Client Relations Manager/Account Manager to join a growing business specialising in high-quality products. You will develop strong customer relationships, retain existing business and identify opportunities to grow sales, revenue and profit margins.

With a portfolio of warm and lapsed clients, you will re-establish relationships, upsell, arrange visits and quarterly reviews, and negotiate pricing with margins aligned to targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, account management, or CRM roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence making outbound calls and following up on sales opportunities.
• Proactive upselling, cross-selling and identifying new business within existing accounts.
• Strong organisational and planning skills; able to manage time effectively.
• Experience in health, beauty, fashion, retail or e-commerce would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Contact warm, lapsed clients to re-establish relationships and generate sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Upsell products, introduce new lines and identify opportunities to increase account spend.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales.
• Manage customer enquiries, emails and CRM records.
• Plan daily sales activity and make proactive outbound calls.
• Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Arrange regular customer visits and quarterly account review meetings.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing to meet margins.
• Deliver against sales targets for revenue, margin and account growth.
