Title: Account Executive - Public Sector
Reports to: Head of Commercial
Salary : £40,000 - £55,000
Location : 230 Blackfriars, London (3 days/week onsite)
Type: Full time, permanent

The Role

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Bid Management
  • Lead end-to-end bid processes, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement standards.
  • Identify procurement opportunities and develop strategies to win contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals.
  • Ensure bids align with regulations and deliver value.
  • Deepen expertise in government procurement frameworks to improve success rates.
Business Development & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and public bodies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and positioning our services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Participate in industry events to enhance our presence.
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
  • Drive revenue through securing contracts and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Develop strategic account plans for public sector growth.
  • Work with internal teams to tailor services to government needs.
  • Support negotiations and agreements for sustainable engagements.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 3+ years in public sector sales, account management, or bid management.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, bidding frameworks, and compliance.
  • Proven success in winning and managing public sector contracts.
  • Experience with government stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to navigate procurement landscapes and develop winning bids.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tailor solutions.
  • Background in AI, data analytics, or consulting is advantageous.
