Job summary

Cadence, a leading provider of computational software, is seeking an Account Executive for Physical Systems Simulation in the United Kingdom. You will drive revenue growth by leveraging deep CAE fluency and enterprise sales experience across automotive, aerospace and manufacturing sectors.

The role combines selling FEA, CFD and multiphysics tools with collaboration across engineering and R&D leaders, delivering solutions that shorten time to market and improve product design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise software sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience selling FEA, CFD, or multiphysics software solutions.
• Experience managing complex, technical sales cycles with enterprise customers and engineering teams.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for the CAE market across automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, and electronics.
• Identify and prioritize target customers, including OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and R&D-driven organizations.
• Build new business and expand partnerships with engineering teams, R&D departments, and decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with enterprise clients.
• Apply a consultative sales approach to show how CAE tools improve product design and workflows.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Partner with technical sales engineers on product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects.
