Account Executive

Reporting To: Head of Sales

Compensation: £35,000 - £40,000 / year

Our Ways of Working

Due to the nature of this role, you are required to be based in the North of England. This role will be predominantly field based, out on the road – travelling 30-60 minutes from your home address, as such, this role comes with a company car.
Join the EVolution:

In this position, you’ll be joining the sales team within our workplace division, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively selling Pod's EV charging solutions to target customers across various sectors
  • Creating and communicating compelling value propositions that demonstrate the benefits of our charging solutions
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities, driving new business through direct sales efforts
  • Being a key player in contributing to Pod’s growth and market presence
  • Working closely with Pod’s internal teams, sharing insights and collaborating to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Conducting in-person meetings with prospective and existing clients; travel is required five days a week
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support
Electrify us with your skills:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience in direct, or indirect sales, within technology, renewable energy, automotive, or other relevant industries.

Plus, we'd like to see:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and nurture long term client relationships
  • B2B (Business to Business) sales experience
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a drive to exceed targets
  • Demonstrable experience within a similar sales role, ideally within renewable energy, technology or automotive
  • Ability to understand technical product offerings and communicate value propositions effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using sales enablement platforms, including CRM tools, to manage pipelines and sales activities
