Account Executive

North West

A leading UK insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Account Executive / Account Director to join its established and successful North West team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven commercial insurance professional to develop and grow a portfolio of clients within a supportive, high-performing environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for generating new business, managing and developing a book of commercial clients, and delivering high-quality, compliant advice across a range of insurance products.

  • Prospecting and winning new commercial clients
  • Attending client meetings and networking events
  • Identifying client needs and negotiating with insurers
  • Presenting recommendations and closing sales
  • Cross-selling and securing referrals
  • Managing your portfolio against targets
  • Ensuring full FCA compliance and exceptional customer service
About You
  • Experience as an Account Executive or Client Director within an insurance brokerage
  • Strong new business and relationship management skills
  • Broad commercial insurance knowledge
  • Sound understanding of FCA regulation and compliance
  • Confident IT skills (Acturis desirable)
  • Highly organised, accurate and client-focused
  • Cert CII qualifications advantageous
