Job description

As part of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying high-growth businesses before reaching out to educate them about the benefits of funding through Outfund.

An ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised, and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills that enable them to develop strong relationships with soon-to-be clients. A passion for sales, drive to succeed, and the ability to self-originate will be key, as you will be managing your own pipeline and providing excellent customer service while acting as a trusted consultant.

Requirements

Role responsibilities:

  • Sourcing target companies across a range of sectors
  • Reaching out via phone, email, and other methods to engage with target businesses
  • Leveraging outbound channels to generate interest and qualify prospects
  • Developing relationships from initial engagement through to onboarding
  • Deeply understanding Outfund's funding solution and tailoring value propositions to client needs
  • Managing your own time and sales pipeline efficiently
  • Collaborating with the credit team to gather client documents and information
  • Resolving client queries and maintaining strong communication
  • Demonstrating curiosity and knowledge of business finance
  • Providing a slick, professional client experience
  • Reporting roadblocks to the wider team

Our dream candidate:

  • 2+ years in a targeted sales environment (ideally B2B in SME or finance sectors)
  • Passion for sales and comfort speaking to CEOs/business owners
  • High self-motivation and strong work ethic
  • Proven track record of building relationships and achieving sales targets
  • Understanding of business finance or willingness to learn
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambitious startup setting
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and adaptable
  • Keen to hear from those with SME lending or credit brokering experience
