Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. is seeking an Accommodation Manager to oversee the standards and operations of our accommodation services at Alberta Holiday Park, Whistable – Kent.

You will lead a team to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, with responsibility for pre-season and winter close-down tasks, inventory management and safety compliance. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or accommodation sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of guest service.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work during peak season and manage off-season preparations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the standards and operations of the accommodation services, ensuring cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.
• Lead pre-season preparations and winter close-down tasks, including setup, inventory and maintenance.
• Train, support and monitor the cleaning team to meet company standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and COSHH; obtain risk assessments and method statements.
• Manage key handling, inventory and safety equipment upkeep.
• Ensure all accommodations are inspected and meet standards before guest check-in and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Oversee the linen process and maintain tidy, compliant housekeeping areas.
• Lead staffing, recruitment, scheduling and rota management for adequate coverage.
• Greet guests professionally and deliver exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate fleet setup, inventory deliveries and guest readiness for peak seasons and off-season.
