Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club is seeking a Disability Access Officer to lead accessibility across the club, ensuring services are inclusive and barrier-free for all supporters. You will influence design of accessible services, engage external partners, and champion diversity and inclusion across the organization.

You will represent the club with external bodies, attend matchdays, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver practical accessibility solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a disability access role, ideally in sports or public-facing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with internal teams, disabled supporter groups and external stakeholders.
• Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate challenges related to accessibility and implement practical solutions.
• Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Club's accessibility strategy and ensure services are inclusive and barrier-free.
• Represent the Club and build relationships with external organisations and stakeholders.
• Attend matchdays and events to provide real-time accessibility support and coordinate with internal teams.
