Job summary

City Football Group in Manchester is seeking an Academy Driver and Logistics Assistant to coordinate the Academy's transport service, ensuring players, staff, guests and families travel safely, comfortably and on time.

The role combines driving with administrative duties, maintaining schedules, records and vehicle documentation, with opportunities to improve transport processes while supporting tours, events and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• A clean UK driving licence is required to provide safe, professional transport for passengers.
• Experience in an administrative environment with managing schedules, records, reports and documentation.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and everyday computer-based administrative systems.
• Clear and effective communication skills for interacting with players, families, guests and colleagues.
• A flexible and confidential approach, able to respond calmly to changing operational needs and unsociable hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Academy's day-to-day transport service to ensure safe, on-time travel for players, staff, guests and families.
• Maintain schedules, records, reports and documentation with accuracy and clear processes.
• Monitor departmental vehicles, report faults, coordinate maintenance and keep vehicle records current.
• Support tours, tournaments and Academy events while upholding safeguarding commitments.
