Based at the City Football Academy in Manchester, this permanent full-time role supports the safe and reliable delivery of transport for Academy players, staff, trialists and families. You will combine professional driving with thoughtful administration, helping every journey run smoothly while contributing to a welcoming, well-organised environment for everyone connected to the Academy., Within our Academy, the Transport and Administration team helps create the conditions for young players and staff to focus on development and performance. Through safe transport, accurate coordination and a professional approach to every interaction, the team plays an important part in the daily experience of players, families and Academy colleagues. The Role As Academy Driver and Logistics Assistant, you will help coordinate the Academy's day-to-day transport service, ensuring players, staff, guests and families can travel safely, comfortably and on time. Your work will support scholar and Day Release runs, staff transport and the wider logistics of an Academy operating at a high standard. Alongside driving, you will maintain schedules, records, reports and documentation, keeping information accurate and processes easy to follow. You will also help monitor departmental vehicles, report faults, coordinate maintenance and ensure vehicle records remain current. There will be opportunities to improve transport processes and administrative systems as the needs of the Academy evolve. You will build positive working relationships with players, families, staff, agents and representatives, sharing relevant information appropriately where player behaviour, welfare or development is concerned. You will also support tours, tournaments and Academy events, including meeting and greeting trialists and prospective signings and helping provide a professional first impression.
