Job summary

Fruition Group is seeking a hands-on 3rd-line infrastructure engineer in Leeds, working in a hybrid model with two onsite days weekly. You will design, implement, and support Windows and Linux server infrastructure, manage Hyper-V environments, and provide expert third-line troubleshooting in a large enterprise setting.

You will contribute to projects across server/storage, Kubernetes, and AWS hybrid cloud initiatives, with strong focus on security, resilience, and performance, while travelling

Qualifications

• Hands-on, third-line infrastructure engineering focus in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven administration of Windows and Linux server estates with Hyper-V.
• Experience with enterprise management tools like SCCM and SCOM.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Windows and Linux server infrastructure.
• Administer Hyper-V virtualization, servers and storage environments.
• Provide third-line incident troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects from early planning to implementation.
• Support enterprise infrastructure management tools (SCCM, SCOM).
• Maintain security, patching, resilience and operational standards.
• Support Kubernetes environments and AWS hybrid cloud initiatives.
• Collaborate with wider technology teams to improve performance and security.
• Travel occasionally to data centres in Leeds and Manchester.
