Central Employment is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to win new business in the eCommerce fulfilment and logistics sector across the UK and internationally. Reporting to the CEO, you will build relationships with founders and senior supply chain leaders to grow revenue.

You will manage the full sales cycle, tailor proposals with operations, and represent the company at events. A proven B2B hunter with HubSpot experience and a track record of hitting revenue targets is ideal.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years experience in a Business Development role.
  • Experience selling eCommerce fulfilment, 3PL, logistics or supply chain solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a new business strategy to generate revenue growth.
  • Identify and engage prospective eCommerce and retail clients.
  • Own full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Build relationships with founders, eCommerce Directors, Operations Directors, and Supply Chain leaders.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with operations and solutions teams to develop tailored proposals.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting activity through CRM systems.
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and activity targets.

Are you a driven new business professional with experience selling eCommerce fulfilment, logistics, or 3PL solutions? Do you enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping growing brands optimise their supply chain and customer delivery experience?

We're partnering with a leading fulfilment and logistics business looking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across the eCommerce sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation with an established operational infrastructure, excellent service reputation, and the capability to support fast-scaling online retailers across the UK and internationally.

The Role

Reporting into the CEO, you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and winning new business opportunities with eCommerce brands seeking fulfilment, warehousing, logistics, and value-added supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

We're looking for an ambitious sales professional with a proven track record of delivering new business growth within a B2B environment.

Ideally you'll have:
  • 3-5 years' experience in a Business Development role
  • Experience selling eCommerce fulfilment, 3PL, logistics, warehousing, courier, or supply chain solutions
  • A strong track record of winning new business and achieving revenue targets
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capabilities
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a proactive approach to business development
  • Experience using CRM platforms (specifically HubSpot) to manage pipeline and sales activity
