Restore plc is recruiting a 3.5T Van Driver - Secure Collection & Manual Handling role at Optima Park, DA1 4QX. You will drive a 3.5T van on planned routes, collect confidential materials, and ensure secure transport to destruction sites.

The role blends driving with hands-on collection work and requires a full UK driving licence and strong security awareness. Working Monday to Friday, 45 hours, with no weekends or nights.

Role: 3.5T Van Driver- Secure Collection & Manual Handling Role

Location: Optima Park DA1 4QX

Salary: £30,518.29 + £250 Quarterly Bonus

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 45 hours (No Weekends or Night Shifts)

Contract type: Permanent

This isn't your typical driving role. As a 3.5T Van Driver - Secure Collections Operative, you'll combine professional driving with hands-on collections work, collecting confidential materials from customer sites and transporting them securely for destruction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving a 3.5T vehicle and completing planned collection routes
• Collecting confidential documents, paper waste, IT equipment, WEEE, DMR and secure materials
• Loading, moving and handling collection bags and containers as part of your daily duties
• Working across customer sites, which may involve walking between collection points and using stair access
• Using a PDA to record collections and customer information
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Providing excellent customer service and acting as a professional company representative
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer materials

Please note: This is an active role that includes regular lifting and moving of collection sacks and containers throughout the working day. Training and equipment will be provided to support safe manual handling practices.
