Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local driving team in the UK, delivering to regular customers and helping keep shelves stocked. You will load stock at the branch and unload at customer sites, ensuring accurate paperwork and on-time service.

This 7-day operation may require weekend shifts; a Cat B / 3.5T Licence and at least two years of driving experience are preferred, with a focus on excellent customer service and strong literacy/numeracy.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Able to carry out manual deliveries.
• Previous driving experience (at least two years) is preferred.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
