Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver for local routes in the Brighton area. You will load goods at the branch, deliver to customers, and ensure accurate paperwork. You’ll contribute to keeping shelves stocked and build relationships with regular customers, with weekend work possible.

The role requires a Cat B / 3.5T licence, at least two years of driving experience, and strong customer service skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Delivery driving experience beneficial.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Keep shelves stocked to meet customer needs.
• Build relationships with regular customers during deliveries.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

Cat B / 3.5T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
