Job summary

People Solutions are seeking a 3.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our client in Willenhall, West Midlands. This role offers regular hours, competitive pay, and ongoing work.

You will deliver beds and store deliveries across the region, perform vehicle checks, and work with a driver’s mate when needed, ensuring a friendly customer service experience.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
• A minimum of 24 months' commercial driving experience.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
• Strong understanding of road traffic regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Delivering beds and store deliveries across the region.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carrying out 15-minute vehicle checks before departure.
• Working alongside a driver's mate when required.
• Assisting with unloading deliveries at customer stores, with support on site.
• Communicating daily with the Transport Manager.
• Providing a professional and friendly customer service experience.
• Undertaking occasional handball duties.
• Delivering a variety of goods safely and on time.
• Using satnav and route planning tools to complete deliveries efficiently.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Willenhall, West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and opportunities for long-term progression.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
• 1.25 hours unpaid break deducted per shift
