Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting a Multi-Drop Van Driver for a client in Oldbury, West Midlands. The role involves delivering and collecting recycling supplies from local offices and sites, with an 08:00 start, Monday to Friday, and a £12.71 per hour rate.

You will need a valid UK Category B licence, at least 12 months’ driving experience, and good knowledge of the UK road network. Full training is provided, and weekly pay is offered with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
• Good understanding of UK traffic laws.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out waste recycling and waste disposal collections from local offices and commercial sites.
• Delivering and collecting recycling supplies, including bags, bins and consumables.
• Completing scheduled routes efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring waste and recycling materials are handled responsibly.
• Operating company vehicles safely and professionally.
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly.
• Adhering to all traffic and environmental regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service to site staff and customers.
• Reporting route issues or vehicle defects promptly.
