Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver based in Severn Beach, Bristol. The role involves multi-drop deliveries with early start times and loads to manage safely. People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver based in Severn Beach, Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine potential for progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts: 5 out of 7 days - start times between 05:00 and 06:00

Rates of Pay: £14.82-£22.23 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries (5-15 drops per day)
• Load and unload boxes and packages
• Load the vehicle for the following day's routes
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Complete vehicle inspections and report faults
• Operate a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with staff at delivery locations

Essential Skills

• Previous multi-drop experience (preferred)
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for at least two years (some points considered)
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
• Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles
