Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for a Multi Drop Van Driver in Haydock, Merseyside. The role involves loading, delivering 25–30 homes daily, and delivering furniture with a strong focus on customer service. Weekly pay and opportunities for permanent placement are available.

Overtime may be available, with shift times starting at 05:00 or 13:30, Monday to Friday. Applicants should hold a Full UK Car/Van Licence, have at least 12 months delivery experience, and maintain a clean driving record with

Responsibilities

• Load your vehicle before commencing deliveries.

• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.

• Ensure all goods are handled safely and securely throughout the shift.
• Complete all relevant delivery documentation accurately.

Multi Drop Van Driver - Haydock, Merseyside

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Haydock, Merseyside.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent full-time work, and genuine long-term progression.

This role would suit applicants who have worked in a role as a Van Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver or Courier Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.23 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Start time of either:
• 05:00, or
• 13:30

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Multi Drop Van Driver are:

• Loading your vehicle before commencing deliveries
• Completing approximately 25 to 30 home deliveries per day
• Delivering furniture to residential properties
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
• Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office
• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and securely throughout the shift
• Completing all relevant delivery documentation accurately

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Multi Drop Van Driver, you will need:

• Full UK Category B (Car/Van) Driving Licence
• A minimum of twelve months' van delivery experience
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences
• Reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes effectively

Training:

• Driver assessment, including theory and on-road evaluation
• One-day paid induction following successful completion of the assessment
• One week of on-the-job training alongside an experienced driver
