Nursery Practitioners Needed – Jesmond, Newcastle

Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a passion for early childhood development? A warm and supportive nursery in Jesmond, Newcastle is looking to recruit two full-time practitioners to join their team.

• 2 × Full-Time Nursery Practitioners (Age group/room can be allocated based on your experience, strengths, and preference.)

Responsibilities

• Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, engaging activities
• Work collaboratively with room leaders and other staff
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children, staff, and parents
• Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and all nursery policies

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in an early years setting (preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
