Job summary

Peaple Talent Ltd, partnered with an established organisation, seeks a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join a friendly IT team. You will provide multi-site support across hardware, software, networks and mobile devices, owning issues through to resolution.

The role covers troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Active Directory and IT infrastructure maintenance. A proactive communicator with a UK driving licence is essential to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 2 years' recent experience in a 1st/2nd Line IT Support role.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments and Office 365.
• Experience with device deployment and management, ideally using Microsoft Intune, alongside knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.
• Good understanding of networking, ITIL principles and service desk best practice, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, a hands-on attitude and a full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, networks and mobile devices, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Active Directory, telephony and business systems.
• Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of laptops, tablets and mobile devices, including device management through Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including wireless networks, VPNs and connected devices, ensuring systems remain reliable and secure.
• Install, configure and repair IT equipment across multiple sites, delivering excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
