Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our Nottingham engineering team. You will perform multi-skilled maintenance across steam and water systems, piping, and building services, recording work in CMMS and coordinating with contractors to meet safety and quality standards.

This permanent, on‑site role in NG2 requires planful maintenance, effective communication with teams, and a willingness to support production and compliance with Food Safety and Environmental

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 in Construction (preferred).
• BOAS qualification or equivalent HVAC/boiler operation credentials.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on plant machinery.
• Manage legionella control with contractors per L8 HSE Code of Practice.
• Oversee external buildings and site infrastructure maintenance.
• Record activities in the CMMS and complete permit-to-work documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure quality, safety and compliance.
