Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Sous Chef for a luxury hotel with a 2AA rosette restaurant. You will handle meals for the restaurant, functions, and afternoon teas, supporting the Head Chef and mentoring junior staff.

The role offers a 4-day work week and excellent career opportunities in a high-end setting. Salary to £36k plus service, meals/uniform, staff discounts, parking, and team events are included.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with fresh food to a high standard.
• Already a Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in a busy kitchen.
• Capable and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals for the hotel restaurant using seasonal produce.
• Running service in Head Chef's absence.
• Manage kitchen brigade including health & safety, hygiene.
