Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join our team at the Slough Data Centre. This role supports Data Centre Operations and provides 24/7 coverage through a 12‑hour shift pattern, including installations of racks, housing, and network equipment.

You will work with global teams and contractors to install hardware, manage cabling, and test components while upholding data centre standards of tidiness, security and asset information.

Qualifications

• Experience in computer engineering and cabling.
• Experience installing rack-mount kits from HP/DELL/CISCO.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Install racks, housing and IT equipment and manage cabling.
• Provide 24/7 coverage on a 12-hour shift pattern and support operations.
• Coordinate with global teams and contractors on hardware issues.
