Job summary

Sky is seeking a 24/7 Content Systems Support Engineer for the Osterley campus to ensure busy content processing systems run reliably. You will handle incident response, perform initial investigations, and monitor system health across Linux, Windows, and AWS environments.

This role requires strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication within a global team. The position is onsite with rotating night/weekend shifts, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows environments
• Experience in coding or scripting (Python / Bash)
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure and services
• Strong stakeholder communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7/365 support for content processing systems, ensuring platform stability and timely incident resolution
• Lead initial investigations into technical issues within MAM systems and interconnected workflows
• Monitor platform performance to predict and prevent issues and improve availability
• Collaborate with system owners, engineering teams and operations staff to support diverse systems and projects
• Document findings and resolutions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Operate effectively in a globally distributed team across local and international operations
