Job summary

Amazon AIS is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join a diverse team of engineers and specialists. You will become the primary resolver for your support team, troubleshoot Linux server issues, and create SOPs for junior staff while owning small projects.

This role requires 24/7 on-call coverage, potential 12-hour shifts, and travel up to 10%. You will support data centre power and cooling events, interact with vendors, and contribute to uptime and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical issues on various platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Meet 24x7 On-Call requirements and respond during shift rotations.
• Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
• Triage and resolve trouble tickets for devices in your region.
