Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local team. You will drive and service regular customers, loading and unloading stock with attention to delivery accuracy and customer service. The role involves a 45-hour week on an Any 5 from 7 pattern, with overtime opportunities and fully funded CPC training hours.

We value reliable, personable drivers who can build relationships with regular customers and ensure timely deliveries. Weekend work is possible as part of the shift pattern.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T licence required.
• At least two years' driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch.
• Unload stock at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.

Working on an Any 5 from 7 contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
