Overview

10733– 37.5-hour Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician - Permanent contract

We are looking to recruit a 37.5-hour Qualified Checking Technician to work at our 199-branch located at Head Office, Lynstock House, Lynstock Way, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4SA.

The proposed shift pattern is:

Monday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Tuesday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Wednesday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Thursday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Friday 06:00-14:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

As a Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician you will lead the dispensing activities through dispensing and checking prescription items quickly and accurately. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch. You must be confident in building customer relationships, establishing their needs, providing friendly advice and excellent product knowledge and services. You must also have the drive and enthusiasm to coach others in your branch to do the same. The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. You must have a passion for Pharmacy, in order to drive the business forward and have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role.

Qualifications
  • Proof of your completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) and registration with the GPhC is essential.
  • You will be required to work as part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service. You will be required to have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.
