Ideal candidates will have GCSEs in English and Maths with a willingness to develop professionally. Prior experience in similar roles and confidence in behaviour management are valued for

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant or support worker role.
• Experience with SEMH needs within an educational setting.
• Confidence in behaviour management and taking on additional responsibilities like lunchtime supervision.
• Commitment to professional development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support one pupil or small group (≤6).
• Support classroom teachers during lessons to aid learning.
• Report on pupils' progress and concerns to ensure needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom times and on trips.
• Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and setting work where appropriate.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment through behaviour support.
