Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join a Wirral secondary school, supporting students across classrooms, 1:1 and small groups under teacher guidance. You will help plan and deliver lessons, foster strong relationships, and promote inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working with children and young people in an educational or care setting.
• Mandatory Enhanced DBS Check and safeguarding training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity and confidentiality.
• Sensitivity, patience and a flexible approach to working with children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in the classroom, 1:1 or small groups to promote learning and independence.
• Assisting teaching staff with planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Building relationships with students and the school community to overcome barriers to learning.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive environment that encourages engagement and achievement.
