Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs across primary and secondary schools in the local area. You can choose your own days and build confidence while helping students access their curriculum.

Salary is paid weekly via PAYE at £92.56-£95.00 per day, with typical hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Randstad consultants will match you with suitable schools to support your work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in educational or care settings.
• Patient, resilient and proactive personality.
• Adaptability to different classroom environments and quick rapport-building.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and suitable references.

• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and school support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as Autism, ADHD, MLD, or SEMH, in an educational or care setting.
• Attributes: A patient, resilient, proactive, and naturally encouraging personality.
• Adaptability: Ability to step into different classroom environments and build rapport with students quickly.
• Requirements: Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) and suitable references.
